If all insects on Earth disappeared, within 50 years all life on Earth would end. If all human beings disappeared from the Earth, within 50 years all forms of life would flourish.

When i was barely 18, I remembered being told there are 2 groups of men that I must not be;
“Intelligent men without religion and Religious men without intelligence.”
And then he said, “Be religiously intelligent AND intelligently religious. Being an oblivious Imam is as lacking as being a dissent genius.”
Aww man, SubhanAllah! There’s no way I couldn’t agree more! God is logic. God doesn’t operate the world in mysterious ways, he’s laid everything there for us to discover and understand. Seek a balanced knowledge of both dunya and akhira till you die.
However, the potential knowledge that we can acquire compared to the Almighty, is like a droplet(tops) in an ocean. Because there is a fine line between the Creator and His creation.
There’s a TON of ayats from Al-Quran that describes this intellectual balance, from surah Al-Alaq to Al-Balad to Muhammad to Ta-Ha. The list goes on and on. And to make the texts reliability evident, take a look at the scientific advances in Islamic Spain(Al Andalus) during the Umayyad caliphate.
“All humans are dead except those who have knowledge;
and all those who have knowledge are asleep, except those who do good deeds;
and those who do good deeds are deceived, except those who are sincere;
and those who are sincere are always in a state of worry.” words of Imam Shafi’i (rahimullah)

We always overlook the good but remember all the bad of others.

Anas bin Malik told that the Prophet swt said: "(O! Muslims) Do not hate each other, do not envy one another, and do not be hostile to one another (standing back to back), rather be brothers (as) servants of Allah. A Muslim is not allowed to desert his brother (Muslim) more than three days."

That's life from the basics. People come and suddenly dissapear, and there's not much we can do but to learn from it and pray for them and ourselves.
